How a case plays

  1. Petuko home screen with the next case, The Birthday Candy, and three case files.

    1Pick a case

Every case is a little mystery at No. 12. Something tasty or squeaky has gone missing.

  2. Story chapter: a rainy Saturday at house number 12.

    2Read the story

A few short chapters set the scene: who was home, what went missing, and who looks guilty.

  3. The house map with three pets placed and Mochi saying she was napping on the couch.

    3Place the suspects

Each pet gives an alibi. Place every pet on the house map until all the clues fit.

  4. Case closed: it was Mochi the cat.

    4Name the thief

The pet left alone in a room with the loot did it. Accuse them and close the case.

The rules fit on a sticky note.

Easy to learn in a minute, with cases that get properly tricky later on.

  1. 1One pet or item per row and per column.
  2. 2Every clue is true. Beside = up, down, left or right, in the same room.
  3. 3The thief is the only pet in the same room as the loot.
